Tell Guy Fieri Where To Go

Due to legal reasons from the Food Network, this page has been removed so instead I have created a new page where you can share your story about a place that you’ve been from the show or a place that you think would be great for Guy Fieri to visit and I’ll make sure that it gets published here.

My apologies for having to do this as it wasn’t my choice but to be in accordance with Food Networks lawyers, this site has to be kept a fan site and say that it’s not affiliated with the TV Show which I have recently accomplished.

If you want to “Tell Guy Where To Go” you need to send an email to DDDinfo@mac.com and they will get back to you.

My view on this is that as a company, the Food Network has a couple of options. One is to do what they are doing to their fan base who come up with creative ways to help promote the show and the other is to reach out to folks like me, lavishing us with gifts and cool signed autographs and try to hire us onto their staff so we can help figure out more ways to get the word out about the show and their brand but as is the case with large corporations, they’d rather sue people and ask questions later.

My freedom of speech is now over as we’ll see how long this dance goes on. I’d hate to have to pull out the “shame” card for throwing lawsuits at your fan base but that’s probably the only card I have to play and even that doesn’t mean they will come around.

It’s been a fun ride and I get a lot of emails everyday thanking me for the work I have done with the website and iPhone app. Lets hope that someone wakes up, sucks up their embarrassment and embraces what their fans want and lets this community live and breath because they love the show that much.

PS – Jenn and I finally got married earlier this year and early on while we were dating, she took me on a trip for my birthday and we visited the Byways Café and that’s where I first learned about the show. From that moment, I was hooked and over the past three years we have taken amazing trips to places that we’d never thought of because this show exists. I know there are thousands of stories like this and this shows the power of community and when they want to speak out, they do it by creating sites like mine and iPhone apps like mine all to help out all the newbies who are coming to the show now.
