Guy Fieri needs to visit Outer Banks, the Riders Club Cafe, Tequila Lopez and SNOGAS

Folks,

These users filled out the “Tell Guy Fieri Where to Go” form on great local places that Guy Fieri, David Page & the Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives should visit. This section is unedited, uncensored and straight from the users who write about the places that they love. Keep the comments and suggestions coming as I built this site to help all those small local businesses get promoted and keep the show alive.

Guy,
Just off the coast of North Carolina there is a barrier island called the Outer Banks (OBX for short).  Very historic area, location of Wright brothers first flight, home of the lost colony.  But the real jewel is some of the freshest seafood that you can get.  You gotta check out the Rundown Cafe with their great baja fish tacos.  Or even Mama Kwans, a great little tiki bar with an award winning recipe for terriyaki pork.  Then round it all of with a trip to Bob's Grill with great great breakfasts and blue plate lunch specials (besides, you gotta love a place whose tagline is Eat and get the Hell Out!)
Keep rockin' out the 3D's, Guy.

Not only is it in the most perfect little beach town
It has one of the best burgers I have ever had!
I am a bit of a burger expert. I love them. This place grinds their own meat, bakes their own buns and makes their own pickles!!  Oh my gosh!!  The best!!
Tiny little place. All they have are burgers, one salad and a carnitas sandwich. I can't stop with the burgers long enough to try anything else but, it has only been open for a few months.  I'll make it to them eventually. They look amazing!!

You need to try a Mexican restaurant called Tequila Lopez in west Houston/Alief off highway 6 and Beechnut. It is a true mom and pops restaurant that my husband and I have gone to for around 10 years now.  My husband (the Mexican) is very picky about his Mexican food and he loves this place!  Try the enchiladas verdes, tamales or just their tacos.
Just west of Houston in Brookshire/Pattison TX is a fantastic BBQ resturant called Hardtimes BBQ. My husband loves this place and wanted me to send you this suggestion.
Another really good restaurant we just recently went to was in north San Antonio called Cieleto Lindo. Our nephew took us there and every plate we tried was amazing! A little pricey but very tastey.
My mom is here with me right now and she suggests that you go to a true dive in Swissvale, PA called the Triangle Bar and get a hoagie called "The Battelship", she says it's the most amazing sandwich ever!
I know you probably get overrun with suggestions, but if you are in the area and are looking for ideas...enjoy!
Thanks,
Maggie Rodriguez

Home cooked meals by down-home people.  If you don't know about it, you would miss it.  All meat is slow smoked all sides and desserts are homemade and there are plenty of options.  once you go there you will want to go again. an old fashioned style restaurant where you have to have cash or checks only.  it makes you feel like you are back at your family's house eating Sunday dinner.
